It's really hard to speculate until I see it. If it's based on the current AI, then it really depends, as its late game macro is very good, but beatable in the early game. Consistent villager production and balanced resource allocation is not achieved until decently higher elos, at least not consistently every game. This feels like it could be a much more powerful assist, but it very much depends on how it's implemented.
It's very slow at finding the opponent, because it likes to search the corners of the map first, and when it does find the opponent, it's quite good at getting killed by the enemy TC and doesn't specifically scout their base/resources in the process.Īs such, I'd (very crudely) estimate that Auto scout is only really "good" below 600 elo, "usable" at 600-850 elo, and pretty much a liability after that.
